Luca Torrigiani

Luca Torrigiani graduated with top marks in Piano, Organ, and Organ Composition at the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence, where he also completed his Master’s Degree in Piano with honors.

He further specialized with Piernarciso Masi at the International Piano Academy of Imola and attended advanced courses with internationally renowned musicians.

His career began in 1992 with a concert tour in Japan, including performances in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Gifu, and a private concert for the Imperial Family.

An active chamber musician, he founded the Duo Prévert with clarinetist Davide Bandieri, winning numerous national and international competitions. Since 2010, he has performed regularly with guitarist Lapo Vannucci, focusing on contemporary repertoire and premieres.

He has collaborated with several orchestras and recorded for the label Velut Luna.

Torrigiani has taught at various Italian conservatories and is currently Professor of Piano at the “Pollini” Conservatory in Padua. He is also Artistic Director of the Associazione Cultura e Musica Rospigliosi.
